The hole is normally backfilled and the grindings left on site. ### Who It's For Anyone with leftover stumps from earlier tree work, plots being cleared for landscaping, or stumps that are sending up suckers and refusing to die. ### When You Need It Once the felling crew has cleared the site, or any time you've inherited an old stump that's in the way. ### Why It Matters Stumps left in the ground sucker (especially poplar and willow), rot slowly attracting honey fungus, and trip people.
